Valentine's Inspired Hair and Makeup
Yesterday, my sorority had its annual charity event called Have A Heart. A fundraiser for USC Troy Camp and the Amanda McPherson Foundation, all of the girls in the sorority were required to wear pink, white, and red dresses and look nice.
To match with our valentines themed event, I did a pink and purple eye with loose curls.
For the Makeup:
First, I primed my face with my typical Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water and Maybelline Baby Skin. I went with the foundation I had on for the entire day which was a mixture of the Becca shimmering Skin Perfector in moonstone, the Cover FX Custom Color drops, and Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation. For my blush, I used my holy grail Sephora blush in peach fusion, and contoured with Nars Laguna bronzer. I highlighted with the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop. I used the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Blonde with her Brow Gel for my eyebrows. For the lips, I kept them natural, as I couldn't find a color that did not clash with the neon pink dress I was wearing. For my eyes, I used mostly Burnout, Dust, and Limit from Naked 3 for the pink shades on my lid with MAC All That Glitters layered under it. For the crease, I used two Morphe eyeshadows in Hanky Panky and Seduction with Nooner from the Naked 3 Palette. Finally I highlighted with Strange from Naked 3. I did a very thin line of black eyeliner using Maybelline Line Stiletto in Blackest Black, then curled my lashes and applied the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Finally, I put on the Sephora Eyelashes in Flutter which are half lashes that make your eyes pop just enough. For the Hair:
I used the Nume Curling Wand fitted with the 32mm barrel. For heat protector, I used the Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Protector Spray. Each time after I curled the hair, I used a bobby pin and pinned the curl in place until it cooled. If you would like a video on how I curl my hair please let me know in the comments! I finished off with the Orbie Superfine Hairspray to give it a touchable hold.
I had such a fun time doing my makeup and hair for this event as well as attending it!
